Privacy policy

This policy explains how Northline Energy Services processes personal data when you use this website, request a quote or contact us, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Norwegian Personal Data Act.

Controller

Riis Energy Services AS is the controller for the personal data described here. Questions and requests can be sent to post@riis-data.no.

What we collect and why

When you send an RFQ or message we process your name, company, job title, contact details, the technical information you provide and any files you attach, so we can answer and prepare a quote (legal basis: steps prior to a contract and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries). With your consent we collect anonymous usage statistics.

Sharing

Your data is used only by our employees handling the request and our IT providers acting on our instructions (hosting, email and CRM). We do not sell personal data. Where a provider is outside the EEA we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

RFQs and messages that do not lead to a contract are deleted after 24 months. Contract-related documents are kept as required by accounting law. Consent records are kept for 3 years.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing, by writing to post@riis-data.no. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
